Hi there! I'm so glad we found each other. Here's a little bit about why we're here.

I'm interested in a life I can actually touch.

After more than 20 years of wearing a ton of different hats, I’ve learned that variety really suits me. But I’ve also learned something about the kind of life and work I want now—something more tangible, more connected, and a little closer to home. And getting here has been quite the adventure!

After college, I started out in sales and catering in the hospitality industry, then spent more than a decade in the nonprofit world doing all sorts of things—volunteer management, event planning, fundraising, corporate partnerships, and program development. I’ve also been a personal assistant, a property manager, and a compound manager at an orphanage in India.

Most recently, I spent seven years helping build a global authentic relating company, eventually running the organization after doing just about every job there was to do along the way. I was ambitious and driven, and it was thrilling to be a part of something with such a big vision.

And yet, after years of building something that reached people around the world—and spending a whole lot of time behind a screen—I found myself craving something much more local and tangible.

More time with people in the flesh. More working with my hands. More moving my body, being outside and connected to the earth, being creative, learning new things, fixing things, growing things—and feeling deeply connected to what's happening right here, right now.

There are so many things about this kind of life that light me up. I love being outside, getting dirty, and spending time around animals. I love the creative flow of making something beautiful, transforming a space, or watching an idea come to life. I love learning something I didn’t know how to do yesterday. There’s something so satisfying about seeing tangible, direct impact in real time.

These days, making a difference feels less about how far I can reach and more about how deeply I can engage with the life right in front of me.

I want to know the people around me and contribute to the communities where I actually live. I feel so nourished by the connections, the unexpected conversations, the new things I learn, and the little bit (or lotta bit!) of magic that can happen when people show up for one another in real life.

Jamie of All Trades grew out of that.

I’m not here to pretend I’m an expert at everything, but I'm a quick learner, I’m resourceful, and it brings me immense joy to problem-solve and do things I've never done before. Show me how you do it, and I’m happy to learn while I help.

I also care—a lot. When I do something, I put my whole heart into it. Everything from tackling farm projects, to organizing spaces, helping with events, crafting with kids, caring for animals, and figuring out all the random things that life seems to require. And there's plenty of room for more in the Jamie of All Trades repertoire!

I don’t have kids of my own, but I’m a very proud auntie—to my nieces and nephews, and to a growing number of other special little humans—and I love getting to be part of family life. I have a playful, creative spirit, genuinely enjoy spending time with kids, and know how much there is to juggle when you’re caring for a family, a home, animals, work, and everything else.

There's something deeply fulfilling about stepping in and making life a little easier for good people who carry a lot.

Maybe you need help getting your house organized, or there’s a project on your property that could use another set of hands. Maybe you need someone trustworthy with your kids or animals, or you’re throwing a party, drowning in errands, painting a room, tending a garden, or doing something I haven’t thought of yet.

I love good people, interesting projects, and leavings things a little better than when I found them. If I can make your life a little easier—and perhaps more joyful—while doing some of that, even better.

So if you could use an extra set of hands with a whole lot of heart, I’d love to meet you!

Let's do it
